Fireside Chat with Dr. Laura Esserman on The WISDOM Study: A Comprehensive Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool
In honor of Women's Health Week, please join us for a fireside chat with Dr. Laura Esserman, Director of the UCSF Breast Care Center and Founder of the WISDOM Study for a discussion on this ground-breaking study and how it may help you optimize your breast health! Developed by UCSF doctors, WISDOM is a nationwide trial working to revolutionize the way breast cancer is screened, detected, and prevented by offering women comprehensive breast cancer risk assessments, personalized screening recommendations, and individualized risk-reduction guidance. Dr. Esserman will discuss the current state of breast cancer screening and how a personalized approach could help improve earlier detection and prevention of aggressive breast cancers as well as improve health equity for future generations of women.
