I would like to nominate our amazing Practice Manager, Prabha Shanbhag, for recognition during Women's Health Awareness Month. With over a decade of dedicated service in the reproductive clinic, Prabha has exemplified exceptional leadership, particularly in her role overseeing the front desk and call center teams. Her proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with her unwavering dedication to patient care, has ensured smooth operations and efficient patient interactions. Prabha's expertise in reproductive health care, coupled with her ability to effectively lead and motivate her team, has fostered a positive work environment where staff feel supported and empowered. Her contributions to the clinic have been invaluable, making her a truly deserving candidate for recognition during Women's Health Awareness Month.

What is your number one health tip for women?

Work/life balance.

How can women better prioritize their health everyday?

In addition to physical exercises and clean food, also focus on mental health by doing meditation, if possible every day.

What is your experience in impacting Women’s Health?

Working in the Reproductive Clinic, I have learned not to take being a mom for granted, There are so many women going through reproductive issues. But the clinic provides help to these women to start a family and it is just amazing to see how technology and expertise of our doctors is helping these women to realize their dream of becoming a mother.

What obstacles do women face in reaching their health goals?

Not getting enough support from their partners, not having health insurance to see doctors on time, having to work and also take care of the family, not having the time to focus on their own health are some obstacles.

Somebody who has a smile, who feels she is a very important person with a great purpose in life.

Be an advocate for women, encourage healthy lifestyles by providing information on both physical and mental wellbeing.
