Our Stories

Storytelling is what connects and brings us together. So let’s celebrate, inspire and empower each other by sharing our stories.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I joined a group of amazing women, who come from a variety of backgrounds.  We gather regularly to talk about books, have brunch, go on trips; and discuss empowering women.  The group was started by a woman-owned small business that saw the need for women to support each other in a way that made them think about their lives and the impact they have on others.  I never knew how much I needed to meet a group of women like this until I met them!

Why did you decide to join the Women of UCSF Health's Committee?

I wanted to work with women who care deeply about the needs of women.  I also wanted to belong to a group that is willing to volunteer their time to make a difference.  Whenever we gather in person or virtually, there is always such a positive energy as we discuss ways to support women at UCSF.
